As I take a moment to look back on the past 27 months, I’m struck by the whirlwind of experiences, challenges, and personal growth that have shaped my time here. My journey in Japan began in May 2022, when I arrived as an international master’s student, eager and a little nervous about what lay ahead. I was fortunate to pursue my master’s degree in Computer Science, a field I’m passionate about, and Japan proved to be an incredible backdrop for this chapter of my life.
The academic journey itself was intense but fulfilling. I remember countless late nights working on assignments, the satisfaction of solving complex problems, and the camaraderie that developed with my fellow students. Balancing studies with a part-time job was challenging, but it was necessary to manage my daily expenses. This experience not only taught me time management but also gave me a deeper appreciation for the value of hard work.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my time in Japan has been the friendships I’ve made. Meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds has enriched my experience in ways I hadn’t anticipated. These connections made the academic stress more bearable and added joy to my everyday life.
March 2024 marked the completion of my master’s degree, a significant milestone that I’ll always cherish. The graduation ceremony on March 15 was nothing short of amazing. It was a day filled with pride, accomplishment, and a sense of closure on an important chapter of my life.
But as one chapter closed, another began. On April 1, I started a new journey as a Backend Developer at Artroy Pvt Ltd. Transitioning from student life to the professional world was a big step, but it’s been a rewarding one. Working at Artroy has been an incredible experience so far. The team here is fantastic everyone is kind, supportive, and always willing to help. It’s a place where I feel valued, and the collaborative environment has helped me grow both personally and professionally.
As I approach my six-month mark at the company, I’m reminded of how much I’ve learned in such a short time. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities to grow, and I’m excited about what the future holds.
Looking back, my time in Japan has been a journey of growth, learning, and discovery. It’s been an incredible experience, and I’m grateful for every moment, every challenge, and every friendship that has come my way. I look forward to continuing this journey and seeing where it takes me next.
